Margaret Stevenson         Watercolours acrylics and assemblages from the Australian Outback Tambo Exhibiton was a great success - see my "Ode to a Tree" gallery. I now have a major showing on in the gallery at the Matilda Centre in Winton, sharing with Leslie Cowper, and will run till the 27th May - dont miss it! Judging by the number of people at the opening night, it has been well received. (check out my "Winton Exhibition" gallery) Leslie and I are planing our next showing, based on our love for recycling. No date has been set yet.

Buried Treasures
This is a series stimulated by the excitement I felt when I first cut open an opal bearing stone. Not always much "colour" but some amazing lines and patterns.
Ghost Gums in Tryeta Paddock
A series of acrylic paintings of Ghost Gum trees growing in the Australian aoutback. Because of the harsh climate these trees don't grow tall but they are survivors and are very old.

MOSAICS
Another of my passions is recycling and this medium can be very challenging and rewarding as well as something to do with all those treasured odd bits and pieces saved over the years.
